Visitory of good over evil – yes sure!!
But what about the waging war within ???

During one of my recent coaching session’s – a senior leader seemed very disconcerted with the coaching process that he was saddled with, by his organization as a part of his leadership growth journey. The initial perception I unconsciously formed about him was of a very worldly wise individual with an overall cynical disposition .

Eventually when I did manage to break the ice and in due course of my deeper interactions with him I realised that he was grappling with a tug of war between his external environment and his inner world.

Most of us live in this constant state of incongruence but choose to turn a blind eye towards it. This paradox of the corp. vs. the real world is something that has often plagued my mind. Recent happenings around the world and some closer home, have made these incongruities quite apparent and have caused a surge in my cognitive dissonance…(table of paradox mentioned below)
